ABOUT PWANI PRIMARY SCHOOL

Pwani Primary School is a public school established on 23rd november, 1997 with a total of 38 students, 23 boys and 15 girls.

Academically the school has been performing well, in the last four years number of students who pass the national examination of Tanzania to go to secondary education is as follows:

Learning and Teaching environmet is as follows; the school has a total of 15 classrooms among which 6 damaged. One head teachers room and 2 teachers office, 2 teachers toilets and 12 toilets for students.

OUR PROJECT

We want to complete deep renovation by removing all sheets and woods start roofing again with new one, making new floor, renovating walls especially in the cracks and painting all four classrooms building.

 

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE

Our target audience are students and teacher of Pwani primary school

Currently the school has a total of 683 students, 336 boys and 347 girls, this number is total of students from nursery to class 7. The school has a total of 18 teachers, 3 male and 15 females.

 

PURPOSE OF OUR PROJECT

Our purpose is to create conducive environmet for the studets to learn better and teachers to teach effectively, this will improve the quality of education for Tanzanian community.

OUTCOMES WE EXPECT FROM OUR PROJECT

This project has many things to do with when implemented effectively.

  • It will help to rise up academic performance so it will motivate both teachers and pupils having good classrooms (good studying environment)
  • Reduce if not ending the problem of dropout
  • It will ensure nonstop teaching during rainy periods

 

WORK DESCRIPTION

Apply paint to windows

Apply vanish and iron mongery to doors

Repair existing floor and replace few areas with new floor

Apply painting inside classrooms

Repair cracks and apply mortar

Electrical installation
